The Swimming Pool of
Limassol will host the Swimming events of the XIII Games of
the Small States of Europe CYPRUS 2009. The venue provides
additional services, include training areas, offices, press facilities,
commentator booths and VIP
rooms.
The Swimming Pool was
inaugurated in 1981, but has been completely refurbished
in 2009 for the XIII GSSE. In addition to the eight-lane
main pool, there is also a separate 20m x 12m warm-up
pool.
Spectator capacity is
750.
