Cyprus In Men's Volleyball
NICOSIA, 6 June 2009 -
The Cyprus men’s national volleyball team won their
eleventh gold medal in the history of the Games of the
Small States of Europe. In the last and decisive game,
on Saturday (06/06), they beat Iceland 3-1 set and with
four wins in four games they took first place.
Andorra won the silver
medal after easily beating San Marino 3-0 (25-22, 25-20,
25-16) while the bronze medal went to Iceland.
