Iceland-Cyprus For Silver In Women's Basketball
NICOSIA, 4 June 2009
- Iceland was a clear winner in Women's Basketball of
the XIII Games of the Small States of Europe, defeating
Luxemburg by 80-55 on Thursday. Iceland will play Cyprus
on Friday. The result of the game will determine which
country will win the silver and which the bronze.
Malta
is the favourite to win the gold medal. It only needs a
victory against Luxemburg on Friday to end up first.
