Tennis Semifinalists Fired Up

Cyprus and San Marino are gearing up for their semifinal
games in the Table Tennis event on Thursday afternoon.
Earlier in
the day at the "Evangelos Florakis" Multipurpose Hall,
both sides finished top of the groups and will face the
runners-up of the other group for a place in the final
where the gold medal will be up for grabs.
Cyprus
faces Luxembourg and San Marino take on Iceland.
In the
women’s double event, both Luxembourg and San Marino
made light work of their opponents after breezing to
easy wins without dropping a set.
The big
favourite to take the gold medal in the women’s event is
Luxembourg who have Xia Lian Ni in their ranks – a
former European champion.
