Liechtenstein Claims 5th Place In Beach Volleyball

- Places 5-8 were decided on Thursday morning for the
Men’s Beach volleyball tournament at the Games of the
Small states of Europe. Lichtenstein beat Luxembourg
2-0, (21-17, 21-14) in 36 minutes to claim 5th place and
leaving Luxembourg at 6th place.
Iceland finished in 7th place by beating
Malta 2-0, (21-18, 24-22) leaving Malta at 8th place.
The decisive semifinals will take place
in the afternoon. Cyprus who was 1st in the first group
will face Monaco who was 2nd in the second group. The
second semifinal will be between Andorra (1st in second
group) and San Marino, (2nd in first group).
