- Iceland are
guaranteed of securing at least the bronze medal in the
women’s volleyball event of the Games of the Small
States of Europe after squeezing past Liechtenstein 3-1
in a pulsating game which last around two hours.
Iceland
had fallen 25-16 behind in the first set but rallied
back to take the victory in the remaining sets (29-27,
25-23, 25-23) to take four points in two games.
