As was expected, Luxembourg
tried to dominate the 1995 Games of the Small States of
Europe, as host of the event, but once more Iceland was no
match for the opposition.
True to tradition, Iceland
dominated the judo and swimming events, and even won six
gold medals in athletics, topping the table with 33 and
leaving Cyprus and Luxembourg a distant second and third.
